Famous photos turned into selfshots

South African newspaper The Cape Times started a really exciting and clever advertising campaign. They made some famous photos look like selfshots! The text on ads says: "You can't get any closer to the news. The Cape Times. Know all about it.".

Good thing they didn't add duckfaces!

This is the picture from the wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton that took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London.

 

This photograph is named "V-J Day in Times Square", its author is Alfred Eisenstaedt. The picture portrays an American sailor Glenn McDuffie kissing a nurse on Victory over Japan Day in 1945.

 

England's most famous Prime Minister – Winston Churchill – smoking a cigar in Chartwell.

 

South African social rights activist and retired Anglican bishop Desmond Tutu.
